This policy explains what personal data shokuninjournal.com (“the site”) collects, why, and what choices you have.
Who we are
The site is run by Hiro, an individual based in Japan, under the name Shokunin Journal, based in Japan. Contact: our contact form.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (ConoHa WING, operated in Japan) records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and operation.
- Comments. If comments are enabled and you leave one, we store your name, email address, comment and IP address. Your email address is not published.
- Messages you send us. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message by email so that we can reply. The form does not store your message on the site.
Cookies and affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may set cookies on your device to record that you came from our site. Those cookies are controlled by the retailer or network under their own privacy policies.
How we use data
We use data to run and secure the site, reply to messages, moderate comments and understand which content is useful. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (such as hosting and, if used, analytics), or when the law requires it.
International transfers
